UAE counting on its educated citizens to advance development: Fujairah CP

FUJAIRAH — The UAE is counting on its highly educated citizens to advance its development model, stressed H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.

”Educated Emiratis are the real invaluable assets and the wealth of the nation,” H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad said while addressing the graduation ceremony of the 26th batch of the Higher Colleges of Technology, HCT, in Fujairah.

”It is vital that education meets the requirements for overall development in the future, and the demand for the local job market,” he added.

The event, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, was attended by Saeed Mohammed Al Raqabani, Ruler’s Special Advisor, Omran Al Shamsi, HCT Chancellor, and senior educational officials and the graduates’ guardians.

Sheikh Mohammed gave away the certificates to 85 graduates.

While addressing the audience, Al Shamsi stressed the HCT’s determination to empower its graduates to address the challenges ahead, under its second-generation vision for 2017-2021.

He added that the 85 graduates of the Fujairah campus are part of the 26th batch of the HCT’s 3,127 nationwide graduates.
