SHARJAH, United Arab Emirates – Xposure, the first International Photography Festival in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), began on Wednesday, at the Expo Centre Sharjah.

Bringing together a wide range of events and activities on a single platform, XPOSURE 2016, an initiative that

celebrates and enriches the field of photojournalism in the UAE and the region, was opened in the presence of Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

Organised by the Sharjah Media Centre, the four-day event is the official photography and educational and imaging platform, that combines a broad range of photography events, including exhibitions, workshops, seminars, presentations, competitions, photo walks and a photographic product trade show.

Supported by professionals and industry experts, Xposure offers many exciting prospects to learn new skills and network with leading professionals and enthusiasts, along with the opportunity to see, handle and try the latest

photographic products.

Additionally, the event offers advanced training in the fields of Photojournalism, along with Documentary photography. The integrated experience includes all the needs of the photographers from soft knowledge to advanced technical skills.

With a strong International flavour and retailer presence, it is slated to be a one-of-its-kind, premier photography show in the Middle East.
