SOCC holds its 1st BoD’s meeting for 2023

The Board of Directors of the Sharjah Old Cars Club (SOCC) held its first meeting for the year 2023, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Ali Ahmed Abu Al Zawd, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The proceedings of the meeting began with the speech of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, through which he expressed thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and to Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, on the occasion of increasing the budget of the clubs in Sharjah, of which the SOCC was a part, to develop sports in the Emirate.

His Excellency affirmed the club’s keenness to provide all aspects of support to the people of the Emirate who are interested in old cars in order to develop their skills and organise events to fill their free time, along with organising several training programmes allocated for children and youth.

During 2023, the club seeks to make a quantum leap by providing proactive services, and raising the efficiency of job performance, which will be announced after coordination with the competent authorities.

The meeting discussed a number of development projects and reviewed the media plan, while the board appreciated the great efforts made by the club’s employees and distinguished work teams in achieving the goals of the strategic plan for 2022, stressing the commitment of the SOCC to provide the best services.
