SIH receives visitors of Cairo International Book Fair
The Sharjah Institute for Heritage is participating in the activities of the 54th session of the Cairo International Book Fair, which kicked off on January 25, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo. It will continue until Monday, February 6, with the participation of many government agencies and publishers from various countries.
The delegation of the institute is headed by Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, President of the SIH, and Mr. Ahmed Salem Al Bairaq, Director of the Institutional Communication Department.
Al Musallam stated that the institute is keen to attend all editions of the Cairo International Book Fair, as it is one of the largest book fairs in the Middle East, attracting about two million visitors annually, in an effort by the institute to consolidate its efforts to preserve and take care of the tangible and intangible heritage linking it to the current reality, and working to introduce it, disseminate it and promote it.
The pavilion of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage participating in the exhibition, Hall No. 3, includes more than 550 various publications.
