Sheikh Nahyan visits Ministry’s cultural centre in Ajman

AJMAN, 25th July, 2017 (WAM) — Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development has praised the activities of the cultural summer programme at various cultural centres of the ministry across the country.

During his visit to the Ajman cultural centre, he emphasised that the programme has succeeded in introducing a new concept of summer vacation, with a variety of cultural and artistic activities allowing participants to develop their creative energies and express their artistic and literary preferences through well thought educational programmes.

Sheikh Nahyan pointed out that the huge turnout of children and students from remote areas and participation of the ‘People of Determination’ confirms that the Ministry of Culture is on the right track and is keen to deliver its programmes to all the citizens and residents in the UAE.

Afra Al Sabri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, in addition to a number of local and cultural leaders from Ajman were accompanying the minister during his tour. Sheikh Nahyan listened to a detailed explanation from the workshops supervisors and talked with participating students and their parents.

We value the great support and sincere efforts of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and their brothers Rulers of the UAE, for cultural and knowledge development in the country,” Sheikh Nahyan noted.
