Scouts’ 3rd meeting to be held on Thursday

Major General Abdullah Saeed Al Suwaidi, Vice-Chairman of the Sharjah Scouts Commission, General Supervisor of the meeting, met with the member of the Supervisory Authority, checking the readiness of all committees for the success of the third meeting of the scouts.

The opening ceremony will be held on Thursday, January 26, in cooperation between the Emirates Scout Association and the Sharjah Scout Commission.

University students will participate in the meeting to define the challenges of climate change and the role of youth in confronting them, to achieve the goals of sustainable development and to strengthen the framework programs for a better world, and introduce the Climate Change Summit (Cop28) and the role of youth in it.

The meeting coincides with the “Year of Sustainability” within the Emirates Scout Association plan for 2023.
