SCFA’s ‘Media Office’ organises lecture on sustainable development

The Cultural and Media Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) in Sharjah, organised a lecture titled “Sustainable Development and its Cultural Applications,” in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Training Institute.

This comes as part of the efforts of the office to raise awareness and educate employees on the subject of sustainability in concept and application.

Dr. Haitham Al Khodari, sustainable development consultant, presented the lecture, which is in line with the announcement of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, that 2023 will be the year of sustainability.

During the lecture, the seventeen goals of sustainability set by the United Nations were presented, along with the efforts of the UAE towards sustainability, which made it rank first in several fields. In addition to highlighting the role of the Emirate of Sharjah towards cultural and environmental sustainability.
