Saudi Crown Prince receives representatives of five permanent members of Security Council

NEW YORK, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defence, today met with the five permanent members of the Security Council, including French representative Francois Delattre; US representative Nikki Haley; Russian representative Vasily Nebenzya; Chinese representative Ma Zhaoxu and British representative Jonathan Allen.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, the meeting reviewed the general situations in the Middle East, including the latest developments in the Yemeni crisis and Iranian-backed Houthi violations. The Saudi Crown Prince said that the Security Council should take responsibility in this respect.

He also highlighted Saudi Arabia’s commitment to the United Nation Charter and hailed the outstanding cooperation between the two sides.
