PCFC showcases 26 ambitious initiatives at DGAE

DUBAI, Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, PCFC, is taking part in Dubai Government Achievements Exhibition, DGAE, in its 6th cycle which runs from 9th to 11th April under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, at Dubai World Trade Centre, DWTC.

PCFC will use the event to exchange expertise with other exhibitors in the government field, to showcase its achievements and to highlight the role of artificial intelligence and technical breakthroughs in innovating its services and products. The corporation is taking part this year with 26 smart initiatives under the theme “Gateway to making the future”.

PCFC is participating this year with a number of ambitious projects including Claim & Refund, Authorised Economic Programme, Post Clearance Audit, I Declare, E-Integrated Goods Clearance Operation, Business 2 Government, Dubai Maritime Virtual Cluster, Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) solution, NAU initiative, amongst others.

Sultan bin Sulayem, DP World Group Chairman and CEO and Chairman of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation expressed his happiness for being the strategic sponsor of the event in its 6th edition and said, ” Our initiatives reflect our vision of enabling and investing the future knowledge and artificial intelligence to come up with new breakthroughs that are able to build a knowledge based economy. This is part of our wider vision and national agenda in the UAE following the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.”

Director of Dubai Customs, Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, commented on this participation by saying, “Our initiatives this year revolve around supporting and hosting Expo 2020, especially that we have won the best government department supporting Expo 2020. We divided them into two main channels; one that focuses on facilitation of trade and the other on enhancing security and protection of society.”
