NAMA Women Advancement Establishment boosts women’s empowerment

SHARJAH, — NAMA , a women advancement establishment based in the Emirate of Sharjah, has developed a flagship initiative titled “Generation 2017” to go beyond the scope of supporting women and ensuring gender equality to enabling them to climb the ladder of success in all sectors.

‘Generation 2017’ comes in continuation of a programmme previously launched by NEMA to create a generation of female entrepreneurs in the Emirate of Sharjah, providing them with telling opportunities to develop their capacities and hone their business skills.

NEMA has revealed that such initiatives are aimed to support women and empower their status at present and in the future, both in the Emirate of Sharjah and the wider world.

The establishment provides global programmes based on full partnership between men and women, out of belief that women are essential and pivotal members of society.

NEMA, a public non-profit organisation chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of t H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah Ruler of Sharjah, seeks to establish societies that believe in women, and value them as a precious human capital through economic empowerment.
