MOHRE, Sharjah Ladies Club sign MoU

SHARJAH, The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, MOHRE and the Sharjah Ladies Club, SLC, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, to exchange expertise and information and strengthen their institutional cooperation in women’s empowerment.

The MoU was signed by Mohammed Saqr Al Nuaimi, Assistant Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation for Support Services, and Khawla Jassem Al Serkal, Director-General of the SLC, at the ministry’s headquarters in Dubai, with the attendance of several relevant personalities from both sides.

Al Nuaimi stated that the signing of the MoU is part of the ministry’s efforts to strengthen and combine the roles of government and private authorities and institutions that work in social development. The ministry has prioritised these efforts, as part of its goal to help achieve the country’s overall development, he added.

He explained that the Ministry is implementing several programmes and initiatives to create a positive working environment for its various organisational units, which will help to develop the overall skills of its employees, as stipulated by the MoU.

Al Serkal said that the signing of the MoU will improve the club’s joint work with the ministry, by allowing the exchange of expertise and information, which will help to improve the lives of women.

Both sides agreed to form a joint working team to enhance their cooperation, as well as to hold regular meetings to exchange opinions and information to solve their difficulties in achieving their common goals.
