Ministry of Interior Ramadan Councils 2017 discuss optimism, positivity

ABU DHABI — The Ministry of Interior Ramadan Councils held a meeting yesterday that addressed optimism and positivity, as part of its eight discussion topics for the year.

The speakers stressed the importance of positive thinking as a motivation for moving forward, while optimism promotes the achievement of strategic projects and government plans, to achieve UAE Vision 2021.

During the meeting, the main topic was divided into four sub-topics that contributed to enriching their discussions on optimism and positivity. The first part of the discussions tackled the difference between dreams and goals, while the second part was titled, “Happiness Oxygen”, in which the participants presented realistic experiences from the UAE and around the world. The third part was about optimism and positivity as a way of life, while the final part of discussions was about adopting realistic recommendations, to be presented to the Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis.

There was consensus among yesterday’s speakers from the councils that positive thinking and optimism are the start of success, and of harnessing all their energies to promote the UAE’s civilised journey. They added that UAE youth believe in their country and are willing to do anything to contribute to its progress. They are also capable of opening new horizons in achieving their desired goals.

The speakers also stressed that the UAE has built its glory through the achievements of its leaders, who turned their wishes into accomplishments and adopted the methodology of positive thinking, established by their fathers, as they turned their dreams into a concrete reality and shaped the nation’s future based upon their goals, strategies and plans.

The activities of the 6th edition of the Ministry of Interior Ramadan Councils were launched last Wednesday, under the patronage of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, under the title, “Generations Resuming Civilisation”, which was organised by the Law Respect Culture Bureau in the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the Emirates Youth Council. The discussions were moderated by local journalists, in coordination with the Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior.
