King of Jordan discuss cooperation with Cypriot official

AMMAN — King Abdullah II of Jordan yesterday met with Cypriot Defence Minister, Christoforos Fokaides, and discussed cooperation between Jordan and Cyprus in the defence field, as well as latest regional and international developments.

According to the Petra News Agency, both parties stressed the need to build on the talks held by King Abdullah and Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades during the World Economic Forum. The King and the Cypriot Minister also reviewed the war on terrorism within a holistic approach, and finding political solutions to regional crises to achieve security and stability for the region’s peoples.
