Khorfakkan University organises orientation day

Khorfakkan University ‘s chancellor, Prof. Ahmed Al Shamma, along with his deputy and members of the teaching and administrative staff, attended, on Tuesday, in the university’s theatre, the first orientation day for new students.

The purpose of the event is to familiarise students with the university’s resources and services, registration and admission processes, cultural activities, and academic faculties and programmes.

More than 560 male and female students enrolled in the university in its first academic year, and they were spread across four faculties: Sharia and Law, Arts and Humanities, Business Administration, and Marine Sciences, as explained by Dr Abdullah Suleiman Al Mughni, the university’s Vice President for Community Affairs and Public Relations.
