The Israeli military authorities today demolished a Palestinian-owned house east of the West Bank city of Jericho under the pretext it was built without a permit, according to Palestinian security sources. They told WAFA that soldiers broke into an area referred to as Sama Jericho, east of the ancient city, and demolished a 150-square-meter house owned by a Palestinian from occupied East Jerusalem. The family was living in the house, said the sources.
