Islamic conference starts in Guinea

Conakry, The National Islamic Conference “Islam: Religion of Moderation, Tolerance and Peace” started yesterday in the Republic of Guinea in its fifth session organized by the General Secretariat for Religious Affairs of the Republic of Guinea with the support of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance during the period from 2 to 4 December 2019.

The event took place in the presence of Prime Minister of Guinea Dr. Ibrahim Kasuri Fofana and Advisor at the Royal Court and Member of the Senior Scholars Dr. Saad bin Nasser Al-Shathri and a number of Muslim figures.

A number of speeches hailed Saudi support for Islam and Muslims and highlighted the moderation of Islam.
