Human Rights Committee holds 3rd regular meeting

Human Rights Committee in the Ministry of Interior held its third regular meeting at the Sharjah Police Headquarters, chaired by Brigadier Mohammed Ali Al Shihi, Director of Human Rights Dept. and Head of the Committee, in the presence of the committee members, and representatives of Police leaders and related departments.

The meeting discussed the national work plan for Human Rights, the International experiences in this regard, and other agendas of the meeting, taking the necessary recommendations.

Brigadier Al Shihi emphasised the Ministry of Interior’s eagerness for joint collaboration and coordination between entire Police leaders and departments in enhancing the values of Human rights, drawing attention that the Ministry of Interior has considerable achievements in this field.

He clarified that the achievements are all based on the concrete approach of the UAE government in providing support to all human initiatives internationally and regionally, with the belief that Human is the axis of sustainable development, that preserving their rights is a basic priority in the UAE’s strategy.
