Human Appeal International spends AED111 million on orphan care projects in 2016

AJMAN, — Human Appeal International, HAI, has spent AED111 million in 2016, as part of the charity organisation’s “Orphan’s Relief” project, to provide assistance and care for orphans in and outside of the UAE.

Through the Orphan’s Relief project, HAI was able to provide aid to 115,000 orphans in the UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Sudan, Bosnia, Kyrgyzstan, India, Somalia, Yemen and Indonesia, among others.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of HAI, said that the Orphan’s Relief project is an initiative that provides care for orphans through medical aid and educational relief.
