FTSE Nasdaq Dubai UAE 20 closes 0.39 percent down

DUBAI — The FTSE Nasdaq Dubai UAE 20 index edged down 0.39 percent, closing at 3360.7 points at the end of Wednesday’s trading of 415,000 shares worth US$3.6 million.

DP World was among the top performers out of nine listed companies, trading 122,000 shares worth $2.5 million closing at $20.90, a 1.4 percent down from its last traded price. Orascom Construction Limited traded 150,000 shares closing at $6.115, 1.4 percent down from the last traded price.

The FTSE Nasdaq Dubai UAE 20 index comprises 20 stocks admitted to trading on Nasdaq Dubai, the Dubai Financial Market, DFM, and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, ADX.

The platform enables the listing of a diverse range of asset classes beyond shares, such as derivatives, ETFs, REITs, bonds and Sukuk. It provides services to a wide network of businesses from West Europe to East Asia, attracting exporters seeking investment opportunities in different financial platforms.
