Emirati volunteers complete 1,000 hours of local, international volunteer work

ABU DHABI — Emirati volunteers, working under the Emirates Volunteering Ambassadors initiative, have completed 1,000 hours of volunteer work in education, health, community and cultural activities in the UAE, Egypt, Sudan and Zanzibar, as part of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the Year of Giving.

Muza Al Otaiba, Member of the Board of the Zayed Giving Initiative, said the one million volunteers have set a bright example for volunteer work by attracting and engaging thousands of young Emiratis in community service and humanitarian work.
