Emirates Maritime Arbitration Centre participates at ‘Shipping 2030 Middle East’

DUBAI, The Emirates Maritime Arbitration Centre, EMAC, has announced that it will take part in this year’s Shipping 2030 Middle East taking place from 27th to 28th November at the Jumeirah Emirates Tower, Dubai. At the core of EMAC’s ethos is the support and facilities the Centre offers to parties who take to arbitration or mediation when in dispute on a maritime related matter.

The Shipping 2030 Middle East Forum, which includes Global Liner Middle East and ShipTech Middle East gives EMAC direct access to 250 key industry participants to learn more about the challenges and changes that the industry faces.

The most notable conversation on the agenda at the event is digital transformation, innovation and the transformation of the Middle Eastern shipping hub. The discussion aims to consider new technologies for the offshore sector, as well as how compliance and regulation in the Middle East region will align. The goal is to explore new opportunities for development within the shipping industry.

“It is through these events that EMAC is able to connect, network and further raise awareness of its services and offerings. It is imperative that we are represented at all key industry events, especially at a time when EMAC started receiving cases,” said Majid Obaid bin Bashir, Acting Chairman and Secretary-General of EMAC.
