DUBAI Police distribute 4,000 meals

DUBAI, The General Department of Human Rights, Dubai Police, distributed today 4,000 meals to workers in labour camps in Muhaisnah area, Dubai.

The move is part of the ‘Iftar Saem’ programme launched by Dubai Police under the umbrella of ‘Year of Zayed’.

Fatimah Al Baloushi, Head of the Public Awareness Section at the department, said that the initiative is being implemented in association with the family of the late Obaid Al Hilo and aimed at distributing 30,0000 Iftar meals during the Holy Month.

Adding, “this initiative is one of a series of programmes we are implementing with the ultimate objective of making all social segments feel happy”.
