Dubai Exports launches “Exports of Giving” campaign for Year of Zayed

DUBAI, Dubai Exports, the export promotion agency of the Department of Economic Development (DED) in Dubai, has launched a comprehensive charity campaign, under the theme, “Exports of Giving,” to provide essential food supplies to underprivileged families in the country’s various emirates, coinciding with the Year of Zayed and in recognition of the role of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in establishing the country’s journey of humanitarian giving.

Nineteen factories in the UAE participated in the campaign, which has so far provided food products to 1,200 families, through containers full of Mir Ramadan and other food supplies.

The fourth edition of the campaign, which coincides with the Holy Month of Ramadan, was inspired by the values of giving, charity and humanitarian work established in the UAE by Sheikh Zayed.

Eng. Saed Al Awadi, CEO of Dubai Exports, said that Dubai Exports has coordinated with several local factories through a comprehensive strategic plan, in partnership with the “Dubai South Project,” and launched the campaign as a strategic partner to support the country’s charity and humanitarian efforts during the Year of Zayed, which saw the donation of large volumes of Ramadan food supplies that were produced in the UAE.
