Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, US President hold official talks

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held official talks session at Al-Yamamah Palace here today with US President Donald Trump.

The two leaders reviewed the historical relations binding the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them in all fields. They also discussed the developments in the Middle East and the world as well as the exerted efforts to enhance stability and security in the region, Saudi Press Agency, SPA, reported on Saturday.

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman on Saturday presented Donald Trump with the Kingdom’s top civilian honor, as the US president began a trip to Riyadh aimed at strengthening security and economic ties.

The king placed the Collar of Abdulaziz Al Saud around Trump’s neck at a ceremony at the Royal Court in Riyadh.

Trump landed in Saudi Arabia earlier Saturday for a historic meeting on US-Arab affairs.

The president touched down in Riyadh and was welcomed by King Salman and senior Saudi officials.
