Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Irish Minister of Commerce discuss cooperation

DUBLIN, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development, Chairman of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme and Chairman of the Federal Transport Authority-Land and Maritime, FTA, met with Pat Breen, Irish Minister of Commerce and Employment, to discuss promoting joint action between the UAE and Ireland in the infrastructure development sector.

During the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Commerce and Employment in Dublin, Al Nuaimi highlighted the UAE’s keenness to create partnerships with the private sector and attract Irish infrastructure investments.

He also invited Breen to visit the UAE and continue their talks, as well as to review the UAE’s achievements in public housing and its future plans.

Breen stated that cooperation between Ireland and the UAE in infrastructure and housing is being prioritised by the Irish government, while noting his country’s goal to adopt a sustainable housing system by 2020.
