Mohamed bin Zayed receives Japanese official

ABU DHABI, — His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received, on Wednesday, Toshiaki Kitamura, Chief Executive Officer, President and Representative Director, Japan’s Inpex Corporation, and Board Chairman of JODCO, at Al Shati Palace.

The Japanese official briefed Sheikh Mohamed on the existing fields of co-operation between the Japanese and national companies to implement investment projects in the UAE, especially in the petroleum industries and gas fields.

They also confirmed the strong relations and co-operation between the UAE and Japan. Sheikh Mohamed and Kitamura emphasised the importance of expanding co-operation and provision of all kinds of support to mutual trade, which would contribute to enhancing the economic ties in the best interests of the two sides.

The meeting was attended by Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority (EAA) and Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.
