Foreigners purchase shares worth AED935.5 mn on DFM

DUBAI,- Foreign investors purchased AED935.5 million worth of shares on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and sold AED875.4 million over the week, DFM said on Thursday.

Net foreign investment on the market reached AED60.1 million as aggregate buy.

Value of shares bought by foreigner investors comprised 51.3 percent of the total value of stocks traded during the last five days, while value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period represented 48 percent of stocks traded during the period, a DFM press release said on the market activities for the current week.

The value of stocks bought by institutional investors reached AED600 million comprising 32.9 percent of the total value of stocks traded. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED558.1 million which constitutes 30.6 percent of the total value of stocks traded during the week.

Net institutional investment on the market stood at AED41.7 million during the period, as aggregate buy.
