MUKALLA- The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) inaugurated the operation of the sixth well in the Zaman water sector in the Fuwwah region of western Mukalla today, as part of the UAE’s interest in infrastructure projects in Hadramaut, to reduce the suffering of the area’s people.

Abdullah Al Mussafery, Head of the ERC in Hadramaut, said that the implementation of this project is part of UAE’s interest in infrastructure projects there, and to reduce the suffering of citizens from lack of water, and to provide them with the best of services.

In his statement, Al Mussafery said this project would increase the amount of water in the Zaman water field wells, which will provide Western Mukalla citizens with additional quantities over those provided by the Falak wells, which were earlier funded by the ERC as part of an agreement to dig and operate five new wells.

It is also operating a well in the Zaman water sector in Western Mukalla, as part of its efforts to provide pure water to the Yemeni people and to achieve a range of infrastructure projects in Hadramaut.
