Egypt condemns car attack on soldiers in Paris

CAIRO — Egypt, on Thursday, condemned an attack in Paris in which a car rammed into soldiers outside barracks in a Paris suburb, injuring six.

“Egypt condemns the collision incident that took place near the French capital,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

“Egypt’s full solidarity with the government and people of France in the fight against terrorism,” it asserted.

Egypt also renewed its call for “decisive measures to put an end to terrorism, which threatens the security and stability of the people, and to hold accountable those who provide financial, logistic or media support to terrorist organisations.”
